I love TV, and I watch a lot of shows. Some shows require my full attention (The Walking Dead, Parks & Rec), but there are some that don’t (Hart of Dixie, Castle). These are my “background shows,” the shows I have on while catching up on emails, designing things for class, or painting the the side tables in my living room.
Well, I graduated and moved home so now I don’t have homework and I’m not allowed to paint the furniture. Bummer.
Then when I discovered Glitter Artist (coolest profession ever!?), Camomile Hixon, I decided to give glitter art a go on a small scale. Most of the design time happens durning commercials, thus the name “Commercial Art.” It’s tedious work, but it’s so sparkly that I forget how grueling it can be or how everything I own is now covered in glitter.
